I have been on the phone for about 45min. The automated system is flawed. You cannot make or change a mental health appointment without talking directly to the mental health schedulers at Austin VA. Can't tell you how many times my call was kicked to temple VA because no one at Austin is picking up phones. So finally, I'm talking to Austin mental health and I ask the lady if the appointment can be moved to later that week. Without my consent she canceled my appointment and stated I could have an appointment in September. I said no I would rather keep my appointment I have well guess what she put a new appointment that I can't make it to and canceled my appointment without my consent. And that just sums up VA patient care.
