I am a landlord and have a rental application from a Herman Miller employee to rent an apartment. When I call to verify employment, the office gives me (the wrong number) for a "Work Number." When I call this out of the USA work number, I must set up an on-line account and pay $48.95 to verify employment and income. This is ridiculous. Herman Miller should be able to verify their own employees and at no cost. Shame on you Herman Miller!
