This park was one I visited when I was younger. My dad described it as an old park but I had to check it out for my self.
Lets call this my first visit because I only remember the parking lot trams and maybe some of the rides. We entered the park using my Diamond Elite Membership from San Antonio and remembered to reserve the close parking which was not so close compared to Fiesta Texas but a little walk never hurt anyone.
We came to a long line somewhat no different then Fiesta Texas but I observed a staff member start a second line around the wrong direction then started a new line along the correct side then told everyone in the wrong line to move to the back. Glad that wasn't me. I would be asking for management. Moving On The member services line was SCREWED! I decided I would rather pay $20 to replace my member cup instead of wait an estimated 1 hour (Member Services Managers estimate). I then proceeded to pay for a Skip the Line for 2 people.
DON"T PAY FOR SKIP THE LINE... Almost every ride we reserved got stuck and cancled or was shutdown. We only got two rides which was the Joker (BatMan at Fiesta Texas) and the Texas Giant.
And to mention the trash again some of the kiddie rides smelled like a combination between Trash, dead rodent, and toilet water. The kids even asked about it which was slightly embarrassing that I would take them to a place like that. The midway games mostly seemed skill based and we all know that means the house wins the majority of the time.
If you make all that money why can't you Clean up the trash in the pods, the floors under the rides, Fix the smell, and apply a fresh coat of paint. Also train your staff better on dry runs because its ridiculous to have to wait for a manager to override multiple mistakes. This park gets a Thumbs down and I might never make a trip specifically for this park again..just saying..
