I would not recommend this hotel. I am from Canada and I was planning to stay at this hotel before we boarded our cruise ship from April 25 to April 29, 2020. Due to the Corona 19 virus, the Government of Canada has issued a travel warnings to not to go on any cruise ships.

Therefore we cancelled our cruise holiday from Australia and called our Travel Agent to cancel our hotel booking. When our Travel Agent called the Shangri La Hotel in Sydney, we were told we cannot cancel our hotel booking as it was non-refundable booking

I find this ridiculous as this cancellation is due to an epidemic - Corona 19 virus. We were able to cancel our other hotel reservations without any issues even though it was non-refundable bookings.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL!!
