I called (c21AAA North Sterling Heights) to see a property and was transferred to an uniformed realtor that was not familiar with the c21 properties. Then, he asked me if I wanted to rent it. I stated that I wanted to see it first. (Why would I rent a house I ve never seen?) I told him the pictures are in an antique color and I cannot get an accurate description of the home. Although it s c21 listing he had to call me back to see if it s available for showing. He asking a bunch of financial questions like do I have a job and can I provide w2s, credit, check stubs... Why would I apply for a home if I don t have a job? Second phone call is confirmation of showing, IF I first meet at his office and sign a disclosure that he will be my realtor. I m not sure I want you to work for me insinuating that I don t have a job, cannot afford it, and want me to rent property without seeing it. I inform him that I have turned in financial paperwork on another listing (shown to me by the listing agent) and I would like to view Parliament before making my final decision. Agent gets confused and whispers to someone She has an agent. ) Then, he tells me he has to call me back. Third call, I cannot confirm your showing. You have to have your realtor set it up I do not have a realtor I explain multiple times to him. He agrees to show me the house and states, I ll bring the disclosure for you to sign. I asked him, You re not going to show me the house unless I sign the paper? His response, Right it s just a paper. No, I m sorry it s not. No I will not be forced into signed anything! No, I don t want you as a realtor! I hope the owners know what c21 is about and that this teacher will take her business elsewhere. They missed out on renting their property because of this agent. I m pretty sure it s illegal to decline showing me the home unless I sign a Disclosure.
