Though I originally posted a 1 star review of Interfirst. I have updated my review after they reached out to me to correct issues.
There were some things that Interfirst did not do well in the beginning, the biggest was responsiveness. I was told 60 days to close in the beginning. Around 60 I started questioning why communication was lacking after completing everything timely on my end. Come to find out my application was put in a hole because some staff did not understand 501c3 ownership structure and were trying to process my loan as if I were an owner. I left a negative review and around 80 days since applying, and losing all confidence in Interfirst, the VP called and got things straightened out. They then took good care of me and got me to close. All-in-all it took about 130 days, which is a very long time, but I am happy that they got the loan closed and did their best job to make it a quality loan for me. I was thankfully not in a hurry on my refinance, and I was glad that they reached out to me personally once I made my dissatisfaction so public. I am satisfied. Should close next week.
