Recently, I took my 1 year old daughter to the ER ...

Recently, I took my 1 year old daughter to the ER here as she was very sick with a high fever.
First I ll start by saying that there is absolutely no privacy provided for the patients there.
My daughter, and many many others were treated in the triage and sent out and called back in several times.
My daughter had a 103.3 fever and no concern was shown. We waited about 30-45 minutes for Motrin. No sense of urgency for my daughters high fever.

Once Motrin was given to my daughter we were sent back out to wait in the waiting room for more than an hour, WITHOUT them checking her temperature anywhere in between that time. This was upsetting and concerning to me because we were having a hard time getting her fever down.

When it was time to be discharged, the nurse took us back to a room with a bed and went over the paperwork with me.
When it came to dosage information; the nurse was no true help. She started off by saying Now I m no mathematician but let me see if I can help you figure out the proper dosage for the Motrin for your daughter.
I kid you not, the nurse came up with THREE different amounts, and said she was for sure the last dosage amount she came up with was correct.
I had absolutely no trust nor faith that that was correct.

Last but not least, the nurse said the doctor was going to come and talk to me; but the doctor just stuck his arm through the curtain and gave a thumbs up.
I wanted to talk to the doctor in regards to the dosage information and I was not able to!

Luckily, when I got home, I found a dosage instruction chart from my daughter doctor from her last doctors visit.
And let me tell you!!! The Nurse gave us the wrong dosage information for my daughter! A HIGHER DOSE, not lower!!!!!

I would never take my daughter back to this hospital again. Horrible experience and I am definitely going to be looking into filing a grievance.
