I am writing this review as a reminder to all to be wary. The past performance of the Firehouse gives evidence of current performance if nothing has changed in management or customer service. My wife and I went to The Firehouse for our anniversary which we had been doing for several years at this point, with reservations and a specific table preference agreed to by the restaurant. This is a place where we would go
2-3 times a year, for birthdays, anniversary and such, so this was a special occasion. When we got there we discovered they had given away or table reservation to another couple, and only had open seating at the larger more crowded and noisy areas of the dining room. With this gross mistake they tried to appease us by giving us a small dish of desert. To say the very least we were extremely disappointed. When I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager it was as if he could care less. We have not been back to The Firehouse since and have no plans on going back any time soon. This took place 5 years ago. If you want a great steakhouse with great service stay away from here and look to Folsom and the Sutter Street Steakhouse.
