The City College of the City University of Newyork City, known as "CUNY" Newyork, is an iconic legendary, unique higher learning Institution & the first American public University system founded in the 1847, in the United States of America.
Its academic discipline inception was from "Engineering Sciences & Liberal Arts_Social Sciences & Humanities.

The post World War II _from 1945 onwards provided proverbial imperative impetus for specialized liberal arts programs of "International Relations" with Chairman Dr. Randolph Braham; a polish_ Russian American, [Chaired & Dean of Faculty of International Relation Dept from aftermath of the World War II; strong support of capitalist democracy system was embraced by the Western European & the United States, expressed pessimism strong anti_Joseph Stalin's feudalism concept of authoritarian & arbitrary/dictatorship leadership ruling system.
Other influential graduate academic mentors was Prof. Lawrence Kaplan [British American citizen] was an academic adviser & supervised Dr. Anthony Offu's intellectual students works & provided and insightful idealism toward then student, Anthony Jones Offu's_thesis of september, 1986.

Dr. Randolph Braham was also the chairperson of the special selected panel during Dr.Anthony Offu's [September, 1986] oral academic defense of his "thesis/dissertation" research completion & development of the body of intellectual work & knowledge respectively, as part of the partial requirement & fulfilment toward graduation for his 'earned & awarded' advanced degree of "Master of Arts" in "International Relations" & post Doctoral Studies program in the global history, peace & conflict resolution; amongst nation-state system at this great institution.

The early alumnus of the great City College/City University of Newyork, such notable public figures are the "Colin Powell., Ex-US Chief Staff, Bernard Baruch, todays Baruch College/City University of Business & a host of national & global leaders in the contemporary historical annals, today.
