The quality of clerks helping in all stations is very disappointing, alot of the time you can just tell they are here for a check.
Even asking for basic information on either locations to go for appointments, or just how to get travel pay worked out, seems to be a great burden to them, aka doing their job.
I see why alot of reviews are so angry because it's all the same for everyone and noone seems to eveny try to get anything fixed.
Even updating basic contact information to get medications sent is a train wreck. Updated it 6 different times in 6 different departments and all seem to have no link to show updated. It took a month to get first set of medications tracked down, while the second round made it before the first, and messes up appointment dates for those meds. Then the vicious cycle starts all over again. No vets should have to go with out their viable necessary medications.
There is no way for any discrepancies anyone has to be reported, put on hold for hours to just be directed to more areas that never get anything worked out. Even the website has no way to contact any kind of complaints.
I can understand that they would be overwhelmed with them but...something must be done. I dont expect this to be read and or handled but it's the only other place I see to let it be known that sure it's a great building and all this money spent on face value, but on the inside it's still the untrained, unprofessionalism of clerk and check in staff per useual.
Now yes there are a few decent ones, and I mean few but it's all thrown out the window when you have to deal with someone who makes every one look bad. Vets just want decent health care, not to come in and have their blood pressure, anxiety, depression, or stress levels shoot through the roof. Just fix it... for Vets sake....this I'm sure is just the tip of the iceberg for many of people.
