I had the most horrible experience with customer service and security. My phone was stolen in the casino early Saturday morning. I went to security and asked her was a phone turned in, she told me no. My sister tracked my phone and it alerted us that my phone was still in the establishment and in the area of the playing tables. I informed security of the issue, security brushed me off by telling me it was pointless to track my phone because it would be inaccurate, and that i would not find it. I then proceeded to ask for the tapes to be rolled back and to file a report, I was refused that courtesy. I headed back to horseshoe in a frantic and security asked what was wrong, I explained what happend and they informed me i could indeed file a report and get police involed. I went BACK to Gold Strike and i was told AGAIN that i could not do such. After 2 1/2 hours of walking around searching i went to my room. I continued tracking my phone. It showed that the theif did not leave Gold Strike property until 6:14 AM EXACT. I went back to Gold Strike around 11 am 09/14/19 that is when Victoria filed my report. I was then escoortred to the back with Josh where he called the Sheriffs department. They ran the tape and found the theif. I also informed Josh that his poor night staff refused my report request. If they would have honored my request initially to file a report and get police involved then the theif could have been arrested and i could potentially have my phone back. I was questioned why was i wanting my phone back so bad and that is was a lost cause. Thats my property that I paid $1,200 for. I hate a theif and i hate a company that has security that doesnt make sure their visitors feel SECURE. Correct me if i'm wrong, but that is the point of security, right? I'm flabbergasted that a company that makes and gives money off the matter of chance would deny a member their right of service. I will NEVER reccomend Gold Strike Resorts EVER.
