Beautiful resort. Monitor Lizard and monkeys on site. Gorgeous lotus ponds. Well kept outdoor grounds. Very clean, big waves sea. Very clean long stretch of fine sand beach which is worth 100% to be out of the way of town. There is return shuttle service to town for only RM10 per person, so it's very good. Three pools, with strict policy of self service towels. Very friendly staff trying their best to make our stay comfortable - there were a few small issues with the cleanliness of the bath room, with shuttle service, with the party noise level, with our package arrangement, with the deposit payment, which were quite annoying, but the staff helped resolved them. Buffet food at Pengyu was so-so, but dinner was good. We also had dinner at Sunset Grill and Olive; Olive food was better, and Sunset Grill's view was beautiful. We booked directly with the hotel and was glad we did because the 5 night package gave us lots of freebies! Borneo spa massage was great but the facility was a bit dated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Nexus.
