We adopted our terrier/chihuahua mix, Rainey, from Pixie this summer. After turning in our application, we met Rainey at her foster home. We were really grateful to have a 2 week trial adoption period before making the final decision to adopt Rainey, because that allowed us to get to know her and all her quirks. We talked to Pixie staff, including the owner, several time during our trial, to get tips on dealing with her transitional anxiety. They gave us great advice, and we now have a very well-adjusted dog. I appreciate that the staff at Pixie is so ethical and responsible for their animals well-being and take good care to make a good animal/human match.
