On a rainy Saturday night, I walked in the Annex Theater jaded and expecting to see another half-baked "turkey" filled with a pool of Seattle's marginally talented actors.
To my surprise, I didn't need to run out of the theater and hail a cab during the intermission. I was enthralled with the play "Blood Countess." The story-line was intriguing and the acting well above small theater mediocrity. Kudos to the Annex...this play is a winner in my eyes.
I hope this macabre/ comedy, with the same group of talented actors, becomes a Seattle tradition during the season of autumn (Halloween).
Also, kudos to the Annex Theater's administration for keeping its productions affordable.
