Carlos & Murphy's is a bit of an anomaly and one of the harder places to review. Drinks are average, service is average to good, space seems rundown, food is good and comes in large portions. It has a fantastic location with an alley entrance and a great patio. The chimichangas are great and very large. Here's the thing, for a place that seems average to good, it's oddly great. If not already, this place has become an institution of sorts. It's very difficult to pinpoint why exactly, but you want to come back and again.
