Hell ya. Sun peaks is amazing. Definitely one of the best ski/snowboarding resort operations in BC. They got you covered no matter what you wanna make you trip out to be. The mountain its self is incredible, offering something for the everyone. From the first day rookie, to the mature blue bird, to the greasiest of park rats and deep power semi-backcountry adventurer you'll find the line that works for you. The snow is pretty much always good. And, even if it hasn't come down for a week, the cold and dryness of the local climate keeps the pow fresh enough for everyone to have a good time. The village has a ton of amazing places to shop, browse or get set up to ride. Pretty much everyone that works in a around Sun Peaks is friendly and cool. The resort staff will go above and beyond to make your experience as best as can be. Honestly, I can't say enough of about this place. And with Whistler/Blackcomb becoming ever more unaffordable, corporate, and elitist Sun Peaks easily steps into the role of being the next best bet for the people.
