I was looking for something healthy and local for lunch and figured I would give heirloom a shot, and I'm glad I did.
I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich, which was colorfull and loaded with vegetables with a really good vegan dill dressing.
It was a bit pricey for a sandwich but the atmosphere was very pleasant, it was well decorated, smelled great, and the business is supportive of local farmers, so I was okay with it.
The downside: for a brand that advertises a natural and eco-friendly, there was a lot of plastic, even if you don't take your food to go. Plastic cups, straws, spoons, water bottles, even plastic coated paper. So, if you're trying to reduce your waste, this isn't necessarily the best option.
However, it was overall a positive experience, so I highly recommend supporting this small local business.
