I arrive in Austin from the Seattle area where we practically walk on seafood and cannot wrap my head around the fact that we ordered crab cake (not cakes) and raw oysters only resorting to splitting an 8 oz filet to round out our meal.
The appetizer and happy hour menu was off the hook. We really loved the place and found it a fantastic respite from the hustle and bustle of the 6th Street dine and dash mentality.
I will agree that it is, I suspect one of the higher priced options but the combination of outstanding service and really, really great food actually made it a great value.
I would suggest you done on the starters and appetizers and do half orders on as many thing as you can handle. Even the half orders was enough for the two of us to split!
