The Denver Zoo is an awesome place. They've made many improvements and looks like there's more coming. I went on a weekday, still parking was pretty full. I've never used the underground parking so not sure of capacity. Large trees, lots of plants too throughout the zoo. Most animals have it pretty good with space, shelter, toys, decent environment, shade, misters when hot. They have shows about animals, very interesting. Today first time going into Lorakeet enclosure, colorful, intelligent birds. For $2.00 you can buy a mini papercup with some kind of nectar to entice them, they love it. Some will try to grab the cup. I think that was my favorite part of the zoo this time. I do notice some enclosures on the outskirts have overgrown plants making it hard to see the animals, they need a little trimming. Totally an awesome good time at the zoo!
