The customer service is non existent, tried getting a person on the phone for a simple billing question, waiting time, 45 minutes.
But no worries, we will call you back! Waited over 2 hours, nothing..
So decided to just cut cable, will drive to the Wappingers office, return my boxes and remotes, and give it up.
I'm only one customer, and clearly Optimum is not losing any sleep over my decision, but at least i'm feeling better.
Good riddance.
