A bit of a disappointing experience with this part...

A bit of a disappointing experience with this particular Guitar Center. I had found an amp that I was interested in, and I thought about trading my current amp for the model they had at the store. I showed up later that day with the hopes of accomplishing this, but instead I kept getting criticized by the salespeople for showing up late for attempting to do a trade. Mea culpa, but I'm just a customer, I don't really know all the guidelines for this procedure unfortunately. The first salesperson said he would help me out but unfortunately he never did offer said help. Another salesperson offered to help, but when I told him my interest in trading he gave me a real stern, serious reaction. I just thought, "Dude, relax, we're at a guitar store, a simple "I'm sorry, we're not able to accomplish said transaction on account of the complex and elaborate process it entails" would've sufficed. It also didn't help his argument when he said he was the only salesperson available when there was clearly another salesperson right beside him, but that salesperson forgot all about me it seems. None of the two salesmen were particularly polite, they just seemed to dread the whole process and instead were just criticizing me for showing up at the time I did (I can't control my work hours as much as I would like). I only attempted to make a trade here because I found their selection better than my local guitar store, but if their customer service is going lack responsibility and a friendly attitude, then maybe it's best to avoid doing business.
