I am a diver that is married to a non diver, therefore, I needed a place that allowed me to have adventures and offered the same for my wife. Hamanasi definitely met the bill. We stayed in the treehouse that immediately allowed me to tell everyone that my wife and I were on our honeymoon ( 39 years late ). The service is comparable to being on an exclusive cruise line with a small number of guests. I noticed right away that everyone made it a point to know our names and needs. The whole place was extremely clean and refreshing. We had no problem with bugs either at the resort or on our excursions ( we went in mid April ). The only problem, like a cruise, I think my wife and I gained weight from all the delicious food we tried.
I would definitely recommend Hamanasi as a destination for those that are wanting a honeymoon destination, looking for diving adventures, jungle adventures or simply want quiet secluded place to relax from cell phones and technology.
