During the Princes & Princess Days we visited the gardens and stables of Paleis Het Loo (the palace itself is closed due to a renovation).
Our children were less interested in the beautifully landscaped gardens, but they found the entertainment + the carp in the large pond very interesting.
The organization has organized it excellently for the visitors. From parking in the parking lot to visiting the site itself; there are many employees present, they are extremely friendly and they do their utmost to make it a Corona proof outing for visitors.
The entertainment on the Prinsen- & Prinsessendagen is fun and the activities link up. You can tell that a lot of care has been taken. However, it is quite spread over the site and the activities themselves are relatively short.
In order to really make a visit for families a memorable occasion, there should actually be a beautiful playground so that children can enjoy themselves longer (but that would probably collide with the character of the palace and the palace gardens).
A fun outing for a few hours, but not a full-day program for families.
