I must admit, I've always thought the service department at Dealerships are a waste of money. I originally took my vehicle to Gwinnett Place Honda because of the air bag recall. Once there I decided to get some work done so I asked the technician the cost, etc (I had already called around and priced the service).

The male employee I was dealing with gave me a higher price than a few other Honda Dealerships. I asked the male employee why is the price so high, he did his speech and explained they were trained Honda technicians, etc.. He appeared to be new because he kept stressing Honda technicians were soooo great. I never told him that two other Honda Dealerships would do the service cheaper.

After 20 minutes of thinking about what I was told and it not sitting well with me, I went to the sales department and asked for the Service Manager. Kam Cheung, the Service Manager came immediately and asked how he could assist me. I inquired about the service and he quoted me a lower price. I explained the situation and he immediately asked for the technician's name. I explained that I didn't want to get the employee in trouble but Kam explained that it wasn't about getting the employee in trouble. He said he wanted to find out if the employee misunderstood me or if he just didn't know the correct information.

Kam informed me the wait for the air bag recall would be lengthy and offered to have someone drive me back to work which the technician declined. After meeting Kam I felt like a VIP customer and I had a little TRUST in this dealership because of HIM. He called and kept me updated as to what was going on with my vehicle. Months later I STILL ask for Kam when I visit the dealership. KAM IS THE BEST!!! Thanks again, Kam
