I have had bad experience dealing with the parts department at BMW Toronto on the past. So I always avoided BMW Toronto. Unfortunately they had the earliest availability for a recall service so i chose to go there.( May be there was a reason for the availability)

Called to make an appointment to fix the recall. BMW Toronto gave me an appointment and upsold me on an inspection package. I took the car and left it for a whole day(That means your whole working day is gone because of manufacturer negligence). When I went to pick up the car, service manager told me the car wasn't in the original state of sale, so they wouldn't perform the recall. He said someone was tampered with the motor.

But he said they went ahead and performed the inspection. I was not happy, but what can you do. I brought in the car for a recall. These crooks upsold me on something I didn't need. And ignored the government recall. I was letting it go, because I was used to the BMW Toronto stealers.

But I am highly disappointed in their inspection package, and it cost me lots of headache. I've been having problems with the central locking, and I informed the adviser to take a look. When I looked at the inspection check list it said my central locking was fine. But its still not working.
A week after my car wouldn't start. I was surprised. few days ago BMW Toronto inspected the vehicle,and they said it's fine, but now its down. I went and check on my receipt to see if I can request BMW emergency assistance, I noticed BMW Toronto did not activate the assistance. And BMW website says it takes 2-3 days. So I was tricked into buy something and at the end BMW Toronto neglected its customer and the government recall. It was a weekend and I had to miss my work. Next day CAA came in and informed me it was the battery needs replacing. And this is the battery BMW Toronto checked and said its at 12.4v.

This is a dealership should be approached carefully for service and parts.
