My mom was at The Hurlbut on E. Henrietta Rd for rehab in 2012 for a broken collarbone. Even though we told them she couldn't tolerate morphine, they gave it to her anyway and kept that information from our family. She threw up almost everyday she was there, for 5 weeks, and was so weak she wanted to sleep all the time. When we asked why she was throwing up we were told it was because she had an infection. When she was being discharged, I found out about it and was told they would wean her off of it before she was sent back to her assisted living facility. They did not do what they said and when we asked her own doctor to change her medications back to what she was being given before her rehab she went through withdrawal. I would not recommend The Hurlbut to anyone and wish our family had turned them in for what
they did to our mom. The only good thing about her stay there was their rehab program. That was excellent.
