Krav Maga Maryland is a great school and I had a very positive experience attending classes. I attended classes here for a little over two years and it was one of the things I will miss most about MD. I stopped attending due to an out of state move.

The school is very friendly to military and law enforcement, offering discounts for both. For a base price you can attend as many classes as you want, which is plus and very different from the other martial arts schools I have attended/researched. The facility is large, clean and well equipped. The instructors are friendly, competent and all trained to the same standard. The other students are encouraging and welcoming to new students. The instructors and other students motivate you to push through your limits to "get home safe".

The self defense aspect of Krav Maga was very different from other training I had, with an emphasis on what works instead of a scripted response. I also shaved 45 seconds off my 2 mile run time do to the cardio aspect of the classes.

Krav Maga Maryland is also part of a larger organization Krav Maga Worldwide, which allowed me to train at different locations while I was out of town on business. I told the General Manager I where was going and she would look to see if there were any affiliated schools in the area. If there were, she called and I was allowed to train while in he area for business. As a result I trained in Louisiana, Texas ( a different cities), Virginia and Florida while away on business, for no additional fee.

I had to place my account on hold several times due to absences for work. I gave the admin personnel my documentation and never had any issue.

Krav Maga became a big part of my life while attending this school and I will miss the instructors, students and classes. I appreciate all their efforts to help me "get home safe". Highly recommend for fitness, self defense and fun.
