My granny was in the CCU for almost a week before she passed peacefully upstairs on the hospice floor. The new night nurse Patrice is the image of what every nurse should strive for. While being very intelligent in her field she knew the heartache I was going through. She got off shift and cried with me for 20 minutes by my grandmother s bedside. She was not only what my granny needed at that time but she was more than what I needed and I truly appreciate that. The doctors and respiratory therapists were also amazing during her stay, they all treated us like family
