Overall a gorgeous property with all amenties you could ask for. From hot tubs to beach, bikes, golf and spa. The property has alot of character with tree canopies and flowers at every turn. We had trouble at checkin but we found the day staff was much more welcoming than the evening staff.
Check in was a mess, they neglected to tell us several things and failed to give us drink tickets. After waiting in line for beverage, the server asked for them and that's how we found out we needed them. We had to leave line, go back to the desk, and explain what happened and don't all over again.
The bartender was an older lady who was super snarky and when asked what local beers they had, would only say "IPA" and give us a death stare. Beer by the way is $8.82 before tip. For a single Sam Adams. She clearly does not appreciate the craft movement nor attempt to update herself on it.
When we asked about things listed on their amenities, we had to ask 5 different people, inlcuding the front desk AND concierge, none of them knew what it was or where it was. Nor did they try to find out. They simply waved us off. There is no follow through, there is no attempt to serve the customer and find out. Most people say "I've never hear of that" and dismiss you like you made it up. When you point it out on the room pamphlet, they say, well I don't know. You're the front desk!!! Find out!
We talked to the manager and they are going to try to get the night crew up to par, since many of them are new.
Otherwise a very nice resort and restfull bliss.
