Deeply disappointed by this business. Interstate was selected for me by the DoD for our most recent move. Things started out very well and probably the best initial response from all of my 10 military moves; however, it turned out to be the worst. They did not meet the suspense to load out and to unload which made life for my expecting wife and I very difficult and they did little to assist us during the transition. I acknowledge my move was during the summer season, which is typically the busiest. I will say the best part of this company is that they assign an individual person to each move, which ensure you do not get stuck in a teleprompt for hours trying to talk to a person about some piece of information or concern. Again, the most disappointing part is that the person on the other end of phone can do minimum to assist. My wife and I did file an inconvenience claim when our HHG did not show up on time to cover what basic necessities to establish a household. Nothing fancy, such as a shower curtain and rob, bed sheets, and crib for my expecting wife. They only item they determined to be appropriate was the crib during the week between our full delivery... this displays the company s true values, which is the bottom dollar. Ms. Louis Brown felt that was 'fair' despite the substantial documentation I provided on my claim. Not that I am surprised. I would recommend against the company if you are assigned to them for your upcoming move I highly suggest requesting a different company. Also the companies this business subcontracts to pick up and deliver are subpar. I get that the moving industry probably doesn t have the greatest folks in it; however, I would expect ownership. The pick up company bullied by pregnant wife into signing false documentation on our HHG. I called to inform the company however they did nothing and ended up screwing us on our claim on the backend. Perhaps this was just our experience, but I wouldn't chance it again.
