It seems as though every time I visit the Pompano Beach Location of the Mercedes Benz; I never walk out without spending more money than I believe I should. You may think that Oh, that's good salesmanship to the service person that attends to me. Within the past 2 years I have spent more than $10,000.00 on my car and still have the same problem: and that was on my brakes system the most. I recently spent $700.00 on gas tank lines which at the 1st inspection was not ever mentioned when the service man said that my gas tank was recalled and needed to be replaced at no cost to me. I was told at the last service that my tank was ordered and the service man would call when it came in. I followed up a few months later and re responded and said that it came in but it was given to someone else and that he would order a new one and would call again. I had not been back to the shop since then; however; Now that the at my recent visit the tank replacement has appeared to have been completed with out my fore knowledge. And I had asked for a document with my signature of acceptance of the work and they did not produce it as of todate. I asked The Service man to give me a copy and the only thing I received at the pay counter was a copy of a labor report.
I am very displeased to even think that I may have not received what I had paid for. This is very uncomfortable to me because I think that it is easy to prove to someone by showing them the parts and the replaced parts.
I do appreciate that the company does help with transportation this is a big plus.
I have to give credit where credit is due: The collision department was very professional and kind especially Mr Gus Germi and his team: he took the time to explain things and assisted in question: Good Job.
If a customer could get across the board service You would have a winning combination for success and better than the competition.
