Went here as a kid and have brought my kids for the historical experience in the past, and it was wonderful!!
But last month, my husband and I attended a wedding here in a private reception area. It was absolutely amazing!! Never even knew that they did this. The grounds were stunningly beautiful. Right on the water. Beautiful indoor space as well as very large outdoor space to have actual ceremony right on the lake. It was the best wedding we have been to in a while, and it definitely had something to do with the venue.
