At age 50, this is the first interaction I've had with a dealership who would not let me test drive the vehicle until they performed service on the suspension. My prior experiences involved purchasing a used vehicle and then immediately having to pay to have that work done myself. At 10 years old and over 100,000 miles, it isn't perfect. But I was surprised and impressed by the amount of work Borgman insisted on doing prior to handing over the keys. For about a week, during that process, I worked remotely with the dealership to get all of the paperwork in place, leading up to actually picking it up. By the time I picked it up, it took less than 30 minutes to get in and out, which is also the fastest I have ever completed a purchase/trade-in. This was the most positive experience I've had interacting with a dealership. I would recommend them when purchasing a used vehicle and I plan on returning with my vehicle for regular service.
