Institute's (IITK) Academic Area comprises academic buildings and facilities such as the PK Kelkar Library, Computer Centre, National Wind Tunnel Facility and SIDBI Innovation and Incubation Centre. It also houses faculty offices, laboratories and administrative buildings. The academic area is connected by a corridor which links all the major buildings.
