Our beloved dog was diagnosed with leukemia and was treated successfully by Dr. Hamilton after we were referred there. We were elated. During the treatment Dr. Hamilton called and emailed keeping us informed of tests results and answered any questions we had. The few times we visited (we don't live locally and were just treating our dog's cancer and seeing our local vet) each and every staff member, tech, or doctor was very compassionate and caring. We very unfortunately just lost our dog to an unrelated (to his cancer) issue that he had been dealing with. I am writing because our dog went into extreme crisis and we had no choice but to bring him to the nearest animal ER with a neurologist where we live. The first place we called would not even give us an appointment to see a neuro for two weeks even though I stressed my pet was in crisis. We finally got him to the second place. The contrast in care and compassion between Crown Vets and these places was very notable. In an extreme crisis and very tough time for our family we were treated rather coldly. Crown vets are the EXACT OPPOSITE and understand what its like to lose a best friend and pet. After they received word we lost our guy they took the time to send a nice handwritten card with a package of flower seeds to plant in remembrance of our pet. Overall a very compassionate place that I would recommend especially if you are dealing with a serious issue with your pet.
