I likely over reacted just from being desperate and without transportation the week before Christmas. They took care of us and got everything sorted incredibly quickly.

Ok, so I definitely jumped the gun a bit on my first review. It turns out that they weren't stalling as I first previously thought. The reason that they had waited the extra 24 hours was that their driver had waited to respond and disputed their fault in the accident the day that I sent a copy of the police report.
(which I found out from my agent the day after writing my original review)

He speculated it is probably their company policy to allow them that time even if they know there is no evidence they could possibly provide to dispute the police officer who witnessed the accident, my testimony, and the police report.

Regardless, once that time period was up they made certain to reimburse us for our ride-sharing expenses that we accrued along with making a reservation for a car-rental while everything was sorted out.

Robyn took care of our medical side at an almost unheard of pace for insurance companies and was friendly, professional, and understanding of our original concerns.

All in all the friction was likely due to us being desperate to have transportation around Christmas, while I speculate they were following company policy to give their drivers an opportunity to present evidence which does make sense to me.

After that was settled everything went far smoother than I thought it would, and I am happy to eat crow to say that my original review is not an accurate portrayal of Traders Insurance in my experience. Robyn and Billy both took excellent care of us throughout this unfortunate incident.

Second Update

Billy who handled the automotive side of my claim was very professional. He was able to quickly get us to an offer that we both could agree on, while being very polite and respectful. At this point, I am waiting to wrap up the medical side of my claim, and I will then go into complete detail about the entirety of my experience from start to finish. Though at this point, I felt it necessary to highlight my positive experience with this particular adjuster.

After being hit by one of their drivers, they literally are playing games even after being given a police report CLEARLY stating that the fault of the accident was COMPLETELY and 100 PERCENT their drivers fault. Their agents are so shady that my insurance agent stated that he had never ever seen anything like it in all his years in the insurance business. The fact that they are allowed to even call themselves an insurance agency is an utter joke. As others have said, being struck by one of their drivers isn't the only 'wreck' you will have to endure after then being forced to deal with them. My agent and I are still being strung along by Robyn from Traders to this day.
