I don't get the appeal of this place. Must be the nostalgia. The food (both the ribs and the sides) is passable (garlic bread being the only tasty item i tried) but nothing at all worth driving out to (especially given all the other options for bbq in LA these days) and the decor is kitschy and dated (service was good though).
