Very disappointing experience. I was expecting so much more from this barnd and hotel at this location. Individually the staff was great however, the cohesiveness and collective experience was not up to standard.

The following were a few disappointing experiences I encountered during my stay:

1. I had to park my own car. Even with a $26 parking fee with a valets, I still had to park my car due to a supposed over size bag on my car needed for my freshman s dorm checkin (pictures can be provided upon request).
2. The rooms seemed that they needed to be revitalized or up-dated. I have seen other hotels in the same category with more refined rooms.
3. After we check our freshman into the dorms, we went to the pool side bar for cocktails. Unfortunately the young lady behind the bar did not know how to mix drinks. She could not make a White Russian, the Mojitos she made instead, were un-drinkable. As a result I, and some other people for that matter, had to go inside to the main bar for acceptable cocktails.

In all I was very disappointed with my experience. I was expecting so much more form this brand at this location. The situation made me consider checking out and checking into the Marriott right up the street.

I would not ever reserve another room in this hotel regardless of the reduced price.
