2006 Mustang tune up - spark plug replacementAfter I read all the issues people encountered while attempting to replace the spark plugs for this model year, I decided to get started early and replace the darn things.with 84000 on the odometer, I'd say I was just in time.I usually go the the local Pepboys for auto maintenance, but the master mechanic explained that if the plugs break, he has no extraction tools for it. (I appreciate straight forward and honest people like him).First I tried the dealership on Beach, but they quoted me $300+ on the phone and later changed to $500 when I got there, so I didn't feel comfortable with that. Then I tried this one, which acknowledged the risk and explained to me what process they were going to use to minimize the risk, and the cost of extracting broken spark plugs should that occur. The process was done within 2 hrs, and no surprises - the high marks go to them for being honest enough not to try and charge me for a couple of broken spark plugs - which they could have easily done. The waiting area does need a little improvement - perhaps with a bigger outdoor area (there is plenty of space) and wireless access would be nice.
