This is a lovely hotel about 25 min from Palma but set in a beautiful mountain area. The hotel is at the top of a hill and you can see it driving into town. It is a very old castle that has been remodeled and updated. The decor is very luxe and each room has a different vibe, but maintains the general feel of the resort. The pool is huge and a highlight of the property. I am giving five stars because we had a very good time here and the staff were very polite and helpful.

However, I do have a few comments. We called and got the last room available. It wasn t in the main building but next to the gym and we had a terrace with jacuzzi. But due to its location on the ground floor and with only one window and a door (there were mosquitos so we couldn t really leave the door or window open too long), the room felt damp. And it was damp Bc we hung our swimming trunks in the bathroom (with no window) and it smelled musty afterwards due to no air circulation. We asked to switch rooms our third night and were given a room in the main building, which had more sunlight and two large windows. If you stay, I recommend staying in the main building.

The food at the hotel is very good and at night it is a high end menu. But, the service is very slow. I know some people enjoy a very long meal, but I think we waited over an hour to finally receive our main dish (we had a starter to begin). Sometimes you just want to have a slightly faster dining experience to just relax in your room after. I guess we should ve ordered room service that night instead.
