The owner of this company came out to do a present...

The owner of this company came out to do a presentation and his demeanor completely soured as soon as he saw us. I am assuming it is because we are younger? He seemed to immediately assume that we could never afford the $30,000 that our windows would have cost us in his ballpark figure. What I should have asked hime, is if he would have preferred cash or check. He seemed to get huffy and would not even give us the presentation when we told him that we were interested in replacing a set of 3 windows and not the entire house. It is weird, because the man that stopped by our house to schedule the window presentation was kind and seemed very approachable but if this guy (the owner) would have been the one trying to schedule, I would have declined. He seemed to have a really bad attitude and it has made me feel bad the last couple of days with the way he treated us. I get that maybe he felt that we were wasting his time, and I understand that he sells top of the line windows, but there is no reason to treat people like that.

Addition: In response to the owner's comment, he did leave at the point that we told him that our home was in the name of my father in law. But he implies that this was the only reason for his leaving and for his abruptness. This is false. Up until this point you could literally see him edging towards the door. There was tension and attitude from the get go and the attitude continued until this point (when we mentioned my father in law's ownership) when he told us that it was not even legal for him to give us windows. He was so focused on leaving that he didn't even hear my husband say that the house was in the name of a trust that he was the beneficiary of. My husband's family is very wealthy and has many of their assets in trusts. Regardless, the comment implies that this was the reason for his abruptness, which being that it was the tail end of our meeting, was only the closing to a rather unpleasant interlude.
