This was our first Honda and first ever lease which presented a different mind set then an outright purchase. Our sales consultant, Joe Guzzo, made the process extremely easy, especially with his laid back and pleasantly upbeat personality. First, my wife and I each road tested a CR-V and an Accord before deciding on the CR-V. Joe explained the trim options for each model which helped us decide on the AWD EX-L. We next discussed the financial aspects of leasing versus purchasing and decided leasing was the way to go on this vehicle as we were able to get a more fully equipped vehicle for a lower monthly payment than would have been possible if purchasing. We were introduced to Akram Ali, a dealership manager, who assured us the dealership was their to assist us in every way possible regarding the acquisition and future service. Finance manager Lily Li was next introduced to us to go over the details of the financial obligation. Lily was truly enthusiastic about us getting our first Honda and appreciative of our doing business with DCH.
The car was picked up a few days later after being delivered to the dealership and prepped. After finishing up the financial paperwork with Lily, Joe took us out to the car and explained operating the remote start and door opening process. He next set up our two iPhone's for hands free operation and explained the various controls for dash and audio system display options, the electronic connectivity and charging port access, seat and stering wheel positioning, climate controls as well as the rest of the cars features. As we finished up Akram came over to make sure all was well and congratulated us once again on the new vehicle.
All in all it was a very pleasant experience for what we have previously encountered in other car dealerships as being somewhat stressful. I would absolutely recommend DCH Academy Honda and specifically Joe Guzzo to anyone contemplating a new Honda.
