This was our first trip to the Outer Banks. I must say that Village Realty was so helpful. I had a ton of questions to ask and they politely answered all of them. Sometimes they even answered with a phone call to be sure I got all of the information that I needed.

We were set to come in the middle of September, 2018. But we had an uninvited guest showing up a bit early, Florence. Fortunately for us, she took a Southerly turn and missed the area of the OBX where we were staying. Village Realty kept us informed of the evacuations and when we could expect to get into our rental. As it turns out, we lost only 18 hours of our rental as we were able to get in at 10 am Sunday morning. Everything was in good order. And when you consider that this company manages over 700 properties (I asked), that is no small feat.

Our house in Kill Devil Hills was fantastic. It was as pictured and as promised. We had no problems getting there and getting in. The house itself did have some maintenance issues but they were no fault of Village Realty. We had about 5 things that needed to be addressed during our stay and they handled each one quickly. The only negative thing I can say is that they didn't communicate back to me when I would submit a maintenance request either by voice mail or by their app. It would have been nice to have had someone call and say "we got your message about the air conditioner. Someone will be out today."

Everyone I talked to, from the vacation specialists to the maintenance department to the repairmen on site, were friendly and responsive to questions that I had.

Per my experience, Village Realty is a top notch company in what they do.
