Bare with me because this is a long post but it's important people know how OTD treats their applicants and new employees. I had my second interview with this company the Tuesday before Thanksgiving week, of which the interviewer stated she would call me by the following day with a response as to whether I was chosen for the Remote Call Rep position. My interview went great so I had high hopes. I received no call the following day so I decided to wait an extra day to give the company more time to review all applicant profiles. Thursday I called, in which case the interviewer stated she was still conducting interviews and would call me the following day. By Friday, I figured I would stop calling since I hadn't received a response by said person. Monday of Thanksgiving week roles around and I receive an email stating that I am chosen for the position! I am so excited and quickly give my active job a notice to leave their company. I complete all required pre-screening tasks, as well as send my proof of education to complete my profile before my start date. The Thursday after Thanksgiving was supposed to be my start date but I never got an updated email nor phone call verifying that I am good to go for training. Due to this, I call my second interviewer on Wednesday, the day before my expected start date. There was no answer so I left a voicemail. Later that day I get a phone call from the Director of Operations, someone I had never spoken to before, just to receive news that they are acting as a messenger to let me know that the program for the position I was given no longer exists. There was a complete lack of communication during the hiring process and I was told a day before starting that I am not going to be working for OTD. I quit my job to work for these people and am now unemployed because they were inconsiderate enough to waste my time. I do not trust OTD and question their legitimacy as a company.
