No trip to St Louis is complete without the arch. It's mind-blowingly enormous from far away and up close. There is a surrounding park with plenty of space to sit and get a good view, and maybe even people watch. The national park indoor exhibits have been recently renovated. For a fee, you can take a trip to the top of the arch, providing views for miles. Totally worth it.
