Initial review on July 10, 2020 : Bad and inefficient service! I am now lying in bed in this hospital. I have surgery at 8am in the morning. My blood pressure was very high and I couldn t sleep so I asked the nurses for some medication to help me sleep. They said they will call the doctor. That was at 10.45pm. I waited until 12.45am and then went to the nurses station to ask them where is my medication. They said they will call the doctor. What? I waited for two hours for nothing? I have a good mind to cancel the surgery. And the room is right in front of the nurses station and so noisy!

Edit on August 4, 2020 : Apparently, there was a misunderstanding. According to their PR personnel who visited me a day after my surgery, the nurses did call the doctor the first time I requested for the sleeping pill but they couldn t find the sleeping medication in the control medicine cabinet. They were searching high and low for it. In the end, they had to get it from the pharmacy. I was assured that the nurses have been briefed that patient comfort should always come first and this will never happen again. My surgery went well and the service and care I received during the remainder of my stay was excellent. They also transferred me to a quieter single room once it became available not long after my surgery.
