In a word: WOW. There are so many ways that shopping for a new bird at The Animal Company was terrific. It was probably due to spending time with Ellen and Kerry. I have since picked out two wonderful birds from the store and each time was given lots of personal attention. They even followed up on them! The store is full of beneficial toys, healthy food options that they'll mix up for you. It's a neighborhood destination and based on the look on people's faces, provides joy and community for patrons. So now I'm a devotee! I do love this place and pleased with the experiences I've had each time! Yay! for this great, small San Francisco shop!
