I really enjoyed my time here, there aren't many parks that can boast the same collection of rides and coasters as Cedar Point.
The place is huge! I've heard it's about a mile and a half from the main gate to the back, and I believe it. It's all fairly flat terrain though, so it's not very tiring. I'd recommend going for 3 full days to be sure you get to ride everything more than once (one time just isn't enough), and if you can go more than once during the operating season, then by all means do. A pass is also recommended, and with Platinum you also get parking as well as other Cedar Fair parks, so it's definitely worth the extra money. The employees were also fun and interactive, which really helps build an enjoyable environment, and that's sort of why there. It was my first time visiting, and I really hope I get to go back before too long.
I stayed in Cedar Point's Express hotel which was also quite nice (I also reviewed that one), it's like 5 minutes from the park and there's a Dairy Queen right next door, as well as a few other places close by (be sure to check the closing times though, I got nailed by that the first night @.@).
And before I sign off, I have to mention the new ride; it's so good it's competing for the top spot of coasters I've been on, which so far hasn't had nearly this much competition. Fantastic coaster, worth a trip out to the park to ride it alone (that's coming from someone who lives in California, for now).
