I highly recommend Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England for those seeking treatment of resistant adult acne.

I am a 24 year old female who first went to Cosmetic Enhancement Center (CEC) in October 2013. Since the age of 12 I had struggled to find a 'cure' for my acne. As I got older, my acne worsened. At the age of 23 I was convinced that there wasn't a cure. By the time I was 21 I had seen six different dermatologists in addition to consulting my primary care provider about my acne numerous times. Among the acne treatments that I had tried were:

Topical: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, clindamycin, erythromycin, adapalene, tretinoin, dapsone; Oral: doxycycline, minocycline, clindamycin, and various birth controls.

Being somewhat against cosmetic procedures, I was hesitant to try any procedural (ie. laser, chemical peel, etc) treatment, but I finally gave in. I took advantage of the free consultation provided by the doctor at CEC. She suggested that I try ultrasonic facials. Shirley was the aesthetician that performed all of my ultrasonic facials. It was also her that recommended that I start using Glymed products. I had ultrasonic facials for a total of 6 months, but was more or less 'cured' after only ~2 months. I no longer need the facials, but still continue to use the Glymed products that Shirley recommended. Should I need any type of dermatologic treatment in the future, I will definitely be consulting CEC.
