Keens is one of my favorite restaurants, and I hope stays around forever. My wife and I had our wedding reception there, and went there again for our anniversary. The food is so good that we've been thinking about it all year, and our latest experience did not disappoint. The food is perfectly prepared, and the service is among the best I've ever experienced. The interior of the building is so classic, as the restaurant has been there since the 1880's. This is a special place. The food is not inexpensive, but for a special occasion you will not be disappointed in the quality. I would not mind if there was a more traditional dress code. Some people dress very casually, and their behavior isn't always top notch, which can occasionally spoil the ambiance. I understand that this is New York though, and we get all kinds of people. This is a phenomenon of our time. Overall though, people seem to be respectful of other diners.
